SUPA Tennis The coaches

Three coaches.
One standard.

SUPA is small by design. Every lesson is delivered by one of three coaches — each with decades of experience, each committed to the same methodology. No hitters. No revolving door of staff. Just the people you see below, on court with you.

Pavel Suchý

Founder & Director
“I built SUPA around one idea — that every player, at every level, deserves a coach who watches carefully and tells them the truth. That’s the standard. Arlou and Jude hold it every session.”

Twenty-five years in the craft. Pavel founded SUPA Athletics in 2022 after a coaching career spanning Europe and the United States — including two years on the coaching team at the Chris Evert Tennis Academy in Florida, one of the most respected developmental academies in the world. Today he oversees the SUPA coaching programme and the standard it’s built on. Day-to-day coaching at every level is led by Arlou and Jude.

Arlou Sequino

Program Director & Coach
“Every player improves faster when they’re enjoying the work. Positive, serious, specific — in that order.”

Arlou picked up a racquet at six and never put it down. After twenty-four years of coaching — and a national junior ranking of #7 in the Philippines along the way — he’s built a quiet reputation across Singapore for the kinds of lessons parents want their children to remember: patient, encouraging, never rushed. He coaches the four-year-old at her very first lesson, the parent who decided at forty-five to learn the game alongside her, and everyone in between. His philosophy is built on positive reinforcement, but his real gift is making people feel that picking up a racquet wasn’t a mistake — it was the right call.

Jude Ceniza

Tennis · Pickleball · Padel Coach
“I still compete. That’s not a side note — it’s why I can teach what a point actually feels like.”

Jude has spent seven years coaching tennis to people who mostly thought they couldn’t — five-year-olds who’d never held a racquet, adults who’d watched the sport on TV but never picked up the game, returning players who’d given up a decade ago. He has a quiet patience for beginners that comes from genuine respect for the work it takes to start. His seventeen years of competitive play — career-high #11 Men’s Singles in the Philippines — sharpens his eye for technique, but his real gift is recognizing what each player is ready for, and asking only that.
